So far they have been super empathetic in making sure that we know we are not alone and that there may not be a cure but there definitely are ways to get better. I read the one review on this book and I already believe that person was not in the wanting to get better state of mind. It's very easy just to ride all of it off as being super factual and uncaring but there are so many moments where they make me feel seen

So far they have been super understanding about the ultimate severity of this disorder. I can already tell that the other person who reviewed this book doesn't experience DPD or just does not understand the difference between babying and helping. One of their claims was dismissive and that the authors wanted us to get out of doctors offices, when several times they have said to seek therapy. That is the purpose-
