Um... I'm sorry Elio, what? This feels so much more than just inner homophobia. Why does this man flip emotions so easily? I hate reading this part because I just have this horrible bitter taste in my mouth as he's saying all of these awful things about what went on between them. When I know for a fact he enjoyed himself. It's just rude and ugly the way he's choosing to deal with his disappointments.

Why does Elio say these things out loud? I just... This man is honestly out of his mind but I'm here for it. I'm just continually getting second hand embarrassment.

Yeahhhh Elio scares me a lil bit. He reminds me of Joe Goldberg but I know this isn't that type of book. Bro is just obsessed to that degree.

Elio is actually insane. Some of the things he thinks or even alludes to have done... I'm aghast. Man is so down bad he's doing some crazy/wild things. "Did you know I came in your mouth last night?" That line really sealed the deal on his insanity for me.

He's already talking about things that don't really matter like normal writers from his time but I'm enjoying the vibes.

And the story is good again!

Definitely not as intriguing but I'm still curious.

So far I am not understanding all the 2 star ratings. I'm so fascinated by this world and this story that I would stay up all night reading this.

I cannot with this main character. I was intensely sheltered throughout my whole life and I still managed to learn some of the things she has no idea about. I just don't understand the choice of making her character SO naive.

She's really out here simping and judging the first guy she meets. Girl you just got here, please. Ever is giving Tara from dance academy 😳

Oh my gosh this book is so good! I read it for 4 straight hours the other day and I've actually picked it up everyday since. And that is saying something because this reading slump has been a lot...

Bro I'm already struggling. Idk why I decided to do this but here we are. It's literally 23 hours like dang okay let's hope I can make it.

So far they have been super understanding about the ultimate severity of this disorder. I can already tell that the other person who reviewed this book doesn't experience DPD or just does not understand the difference between babying and helping. One of their claims was dismissive and that the authors wanted us to get out of doctors offices, when several times they have said to seek therapy. That is the purpose-

So far they have been super empathetic in making sure that we know we are not alone and that there may not be a cure but there definitely are ways to get better. I read the one review on this book and I already believe that person was not in the wanting to get better state of mind. It's very easy just to ride all of it off as being super factual and uncaring but there are so many moments where they make me feel seen

I don't think I've ever read a book like this before and it's really refreshing

I'm clearly enjoying this, as seen by the almost 4 hours of listening I've already done into this audiobook.

I'm listening to the audiobook and I had no idea this would be a romance? Lol I mean I didn't read any of the descriptions other than listening to a sample of the prologue. Maybe it isn't a romance and I'm just too far from the end to understand that. Or I'm just being an idiot and didn't look at the genre. Any of the above will do ahha. But I am enjoying it so far.
