It hurts. I'm so glad I have the next two books because there's no way in hell I'd last long without resolution.

Also, perhaps an unpopular opinion, but Ava should have gotten rid of the stuff before she left since she knew what could happen. I get her reaction but like... ugh. I am broken.

Ava sure has a lot more strength than me because seeing Jesse at his car like that is fucking killing me and I would not be able to stop myself from going to him.

Oh, God, here we go.

It's so fucking HARD reading Ava's stupid thoughts and her questioning of Jesse's ability to see what he already fucking knows bUT WHAT SHE WON'T JUST FUCKING SAY. GOD. YOU'RE AN IDIOT. WHY CAN'T YOU GUYS JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER.

I'm annoyed at Ava for being dumb. I know Jesse can be super unreasonable, but come ON. Ava's being her own kind of unreasonable.

These two make me cry because they're so fucking cute and sweet and perfect and it hurts me. True, literal tears, by the way.

Also, it's hard to keep reading because I'm annoyed with Ava for drunkenly confessing what she did and now refusing to say it out loud and Jesse is obviously trying to coax it out of her. I feel for the man. I really, really do. (Even if he can be quite unreasonable.)

"Is something funny?" he asks seriously.
I make a meal of flicking through the pages of my diary harshly. "Yes, my life," I mutter.

Same, Ava. Same.

"Everything is so much more bearable with you around, Ava," he says softly, his eyes searching mine.

I'm so glad there are two more books in this series. I'd go through Jesse withdrawals if this was the last I saw of him.

God, but Jesse taking care of Ava and brushing her teeth and the palm kiss and just UGH. I love him so much I might die.
