I'm not connecting to this story or the characters so I'm listening in hyper-speed (for me) to try to finish it before my loan is up in two days since twenty people are waiting for it on Libby and I don't want to DNF. *sob*

My favorite joke just made an appearance in this book: "Where did Napoleon keep his armies? In his sleevies." 😂

I'm not a fan of people talking about how "admirable" they are for showing "restraint" by not touching someone without their consent. I'm pushing through for now, but I'm on alert.

My heart is just... shattered. I decided to say screw sleep and finish. I'm gonna be falling asleep at work tomorrow. I'm broken. I don't want to go on. Someone ease the pain for me, please.

Well, this story is definitely darker. Intriguing. I really love Nate and Ben and the great vibe from them. This found family is my favorite part of the series. I love found families.
