In the past week I have downed 3 Amy Lane's followed by a Coleen Hoover chaser. What the hell was I thinking?! I am a tightly wound ball of angst right now. Any recommendations for something light and refreshing?

Cam *tactile seeker* Do you have a favorite genre, Jennifer?

Jennifer I really like M/M, some NA and some contemporary romance. I like a bit of a mystery too -- was considering the Adrien English series by Josh Lanyon but not sure on the angst level. Any suggestions would be great -- thank you!

Ah well, I really liked this one and I'm basically recommending it to every friend: Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
It's a Contemporary Romance, very funny, very sexy, there's a little angst (nothing unbearable). ;)

P.S. I'm trying to come up with something else, it's not easy when you stop and think about it.

Jennifer Thanks, Camilla -- I am going to check that one out. Looks like just what I need right now. I know -- there is so much angst/agony out there it is hard to avoid sometimes. I should also mention that I read The Fault in Our Stars and Memorizing You in the past month. No wonder I am a mess! :-)

Ah well, I had the wonderful idea to read "The Fault in Our Stars" the day of my birthday. No need to say it was probably the saddest birthday ever. ;P

I really hope you like that one and feel better after you finish it. It had an amazing "aww" factor to it that made me absolutely adore it. :)

I just finished the book --- I liked it and thought it was delightful! I really loved the circus setting and all of the craziness that goes along with it. It was exactly what I needed this week. Although I am still mildly suffering Colleen Hoover hangover -- Maybe Someday really wiped me out! I am reading Caught Running next. Thanks again!

Cam *tactile seeker* Awww, I'm so happy you liked it! It's definitely among my favorite Contemporary Romance books.
I thought the circus setting was amazing, too! I really loved her interacting with the little elephant and Sinjun!
I'll have to check "Caught Running" out now, I don't think I have it in my lists!
