So. The writing style is so enjoyable so far. It’s sort of reminiscent of books I read as a kid- a series of unfortunate events by lemony snicket and that sort. so nostalgic yet so new at the same time.

it’s magical in a sort of speculative fiction sort of way. just odd in the best way.
