Similarly to the way I felt about the first couple of books in the Harry Potter series, this particular style of story just doesn’t thrill me. I’m hoping by the end of the book I will come to liking it. It’s certainly well written, it’s just not my style.
EDIT: By the time I got to the end of this book I was won over by the heart of it. Simple and kind truth.5 Stars Good for anyone who has ever felt different.

I suppose this book is somewhat charming. Similarly to the way I felt about the first couple of books in the Harry Potter series, this particular style of story just doesn’t thrill me that much.
