Tim is starting The Poppy War (The Poppy War, #1)

I dnf’d for now. It is well written, I’m just not into it at the moment. I waited so long to finally get a chance to read it and now I’m not in the mood. LOL

This is not to disparage the book in anyway. Because of course I haven’t finished it so I can’t yet judge.

Tim is 59% done with The House in the Cerulean Sea (Cerulean Chronicles, #1)

Similarly to the way I felt about the first couple of books in the Harry Potter series, this particular style of story just doesn’t thrill me. I’m hoping by the end of the book I will come to liking it. It’s certainly well written, it’s just not my style.
EDIT: By the time I got to the end of this book I was won over by the heart of it. Simple and kind truth.5 Stars Good for anyone who has ever felt different.

I suppose this book is somewhat charming. Similarly to the way I felt about the first couple of books in the Harry Potter series, this particular style of story just doesn’t thrill me that much. Tim is on page 10 of 425 of Boyfriend Material (London Calling, #1)

OK I just started this book. Rarely do I ever review books or especially do so when I haven’t even finished it yet. But I absolutely have to say that this is one of my favorite books ever. The dialogue is so charming and realistic. The audiobook narration is absolutely fantastic. I wish I was I could write half as well. 10 stars!
