oh, i'm curious.

I wanted to write what it was but figured it would be a spoiler.

But this book is sooo weird. If I wasn't curious to see what happens based on the movie trailer I watched, I'd probably give up.

You can't leave us with that update & not tell us what you're talking about! Put it in a spoiler tag so people can avoid it & the curious (like me!) can learn more!

DETAILS, WOMAN!!!!!!!

Alrighty. (view spoiler)[Hayley (I think that's her name iirc, it's only been used in the book a couple of times) is having sex on the beach with a guy who looks like her brother. Her brother is having sex right next to her. They're (her and the brother) both pretty much frothing at the mouth over each other and watching each other have sex. So the scene pretty much reads as incest because the two of them are getting off on watching each other and they're only half-interested in the people they're having sex with. (hide spoiler)]

From what I saw in the trailer, I'm thinking that's part of what comes in to play with the guy who is stalking, so I think this is a set up, but it was a weird relationship all along because she mentions (view spoiler)[that they used to get naked and lay (lie?) together when they were children. The only thing I'm sort of confused about is (view spoiler)[whether or not they're blood related. I might have to go back and read it again. Maybe they're only step siblings. It seems sort of random to have this incestuous vibe, unless it's playing on the fact that they were there for each other since they were kids. (hide spoiler)]

So if I'm wrong about this, my apologies. I might go back and re-read the beginning before writing my review, just to make sure.
