I'm on page 60... shouldn't the plot be somewhere in sight by now. Instead I just have to suffer through this idiot being amazed by fucking EVERYTHING. Omg, celery is so weird, you guys, don't you know?

Oh god, she's going to describe her doing chores, isn't she. Yep, she is. There are just so many inane details in this book, my god.

I honestly do not get why they are freaking out about the town being so bad that they'll have to start from scratch. The town seems pretty okay to me. Two people dying (plus they're not even sure if that's the doing of the 'agents of the dark' or wathever). If they freak out over so little, maybe it's a good thing they didn't get sent to Syria or something. They'd probably break down sobbing.

Ugh, I find the term 'peeling' for taking of clothes such a strange choice of word. It reminds me of food, and now I'm hungry.

"Would we have talked while I would tried my hand at fishing?" I misread the 'h' in fishing. Yeeaahh. That would've been awesome.

I'm already bored. I'm not even kidding. And is it just me who finds it weird when people's voices are compared to instruments? Just me? 'Kay, I'll shut up now.

Oh god, I remember reading this years ago. I do not, however, remember if it was good or bad, so that shows something about the impression this book left on me
