Finally settling into bed after what felt like a very long day 😭 my brain feels a little bit like a puddle. I’m so beyond excited to read on with this author—I could not have done it without her writing to lead me. I’m ready to be lead through her novels for the rest of eternity 🗝️

Good morning! Well, aft lol. So sorry to cause any alarm if people were waiting for me to wake up 😂 I can't remember the last time I slept in this late. I didn't fall asleep until like 4 or something so I think that's how we got here lmao I hope everyone is having a good/chill Sunday so far. As I said, sooo written by an eldest daughter lol. Could not be more obvious frankly. Jane is self-assured, independent, questions everything, speaks her mind. I love her. I hope any kids I have (years down the line) take after their mother in that way x

Good morning! Where are we in this book? I think we were at Gateshead Hall and now Lowood School. How they name things in these books reminds me of how they name food at Trader Joe's idk how to explain it lmao. Like everything kind of has the same name but different but also weird? like just slightly off. Wuthering Heights was "Thrushcross Grange" lol again is it me? who knows.

There’s also a feature where you can now scan your books into the GR digital library. Some book girlies online did this with an excel spreadsheet and isbn scanner, before GR. I want that. Since you can sync straight into GR now. But I need an ISBN scanner and the drive to scan every single book I own lol

Also due to the non-permanent nature of our digital libraries, part of me wants an old school like, filing system. Like a dewey decimal system and a box of index cards. Smh don’t even get me STARTED on kids today not knowing about the Dewey decimal system 💀😂 Which we’ve basically done away with, btw, in libraries and in bookstores. & it’s not going well!! How easy is it for you to find a specific book when you walk into B&N? Exactly. It’s on purpose, for multiple reasons. I will die on this hill lmao
But am I really gonna be that bitch with a box of index Dewey decimal cards for her personal collection??? …..don’t answer that 🤣 I might be xtra enough 😉
