Welp, unfortunately for me, twas an attempted set up! She's not my friend. Or someone who's willing to go to bat for me.
I'm actually pretty fucking angry right now so I'm gonna take a beat. Not the fault of anyone besides the people in that meeting.

Good morning! Where are we in this book? I think we were at Gateshead Hall and now Lowood School. How they name things in these books reminds me of how they name food at Trader Joe's idk how to explain it lmao. Like everything kind of has the same name but different but also weird? like just slightly off. Wuthering Heights was "Thrushcross Grange" lol again is it me? who knows.

Good morninggg! Since I finished Wuthering Heights I decided to read some of this. It's not high on the list of things that I plan on finishing soon, pun intended lol...but I just wanted to start to compare to WH since I just read that one :)
I did not sleep very well last night even though I felt perfectly fine. I have a feeling maybe someone else had trouble sleeping as well xxx I tend to have a sense for it

Today is okay! Tis quiet at work so that’s nice. I am running out of house stuff to do 😂 which honestly is a very good thing, we love that. So this week is cleaning/touch ups/add to list of random things I need a spouse to do!

Lmao not Captain Sassypants sending another sassypants email right as I said “work is quiet.” Using a lot of red 💀 She’s definitely buying time. And not following directions very well either, I might add 😒 babies in suits, I tell ya!
I’m in no rush to answer that email lmao. Other than that, I think of nothing else but this book & how much I love reading it. Endlessly impressed by the author, who is incredible & has built an equally incredible world around her through fortitude & intelligence. To stand in her presence again, to know what she thinks and feels without the medium of paper between us, to see the world through her eyes, I think would feel like a blessing. Call me silly or woo woo, but I kinda think I just might be so lucky. It’s my St. Patrick’s day wish 🍀 I don’t think that’s a thing but like, we’re relying on a groundhog to predict spring so I think I’m allowed to take some liberties with this holiday as an Irish person. Not a fan of the “kiss me I’m Irish” tradition 😂😂😂 that is a good way to lose your life with me. Unless you’re someone specific 😉
I hope the week goes by very quickly 😭 and I may be quieter for logistics reasons. But my reading buddy is keeping me going, hope y’all know that!! Dw b, I'm with you. My feet are firmly planted in my decision, and I would do it again in a heartbeat to get to the end of this book!
