Just experienced the worlds most pointless non-journey to work but it also gave me three hours of bonus reading team. Equally cursed and blessed.

Way to go! I finally put "1Q84" to bed. Now I can move on to the next "squisher" for this month!

Well done sir that is a triumph . I'm hoping to finish this one by Monday in order to move onto either mason and Dixon by pynchon or the bonfire of the vanities maybe.

I've only sampled Pynchon-lite a la Lot 49. Someday I want to take the plunge and pick up one of his full-meal deals.
I've started working through Montaigne's complete works one essay at a time before beddy-bye--which means there's no way I'm polishing that baddy off before frogs leap. The main event for this month is gonna be Goldman's autobiography Living My Life. Cheerful reading that one.
