So the war starts , Saddam battles Khomeini , meanwhile Iraqi kurdiah Peshmerga battle Saddam the latter preventing weapons coming from Iran. In mirror , Iran also battles PKDI , the equivalent of PKK but in Iran.

It is dead funny that the start of the war caught Iranian High Command totally rejecting the West , hailing it as the Great Satan (Iraq and Saddam Hussein being the Small Satan - Usa's pawn) while totally adopting the military apparatus , equipment and even battle formations according to British and French models , which made the military technicians job's alot harder to repair or refurbish damaged mechanized units.
