Lancelot continues to be trash. Also, the bishop is also trash. I cannot speak highly enough of this audio narrator. So good.

This Petrus seems like a character that will be fun to follow. This prologue was wild and complex but not hard to follow on the whole. I'm sure more will become clear. I don't hate the writing, it's very smooth.

Feeling a bit more connected to this book. Action is solid, maybe I like the addition of the newest druid. Trying to figure out what minor plot will be completed in this book while the main Ragnarok event is ongoing.

Will the end of this book be a big battle between Arthur and Gorfifit? Assuming I got the spelling wrong.

At this point I'm guessing the Britain fighting between all factions, or most, factions will continue into book 2, I can't see how this ends in the next 23% of the audiobook where all the factions are beat by someone or eliminate each other. I am looking forward to Nimuwe's (spelling?) revenge, if it happens. Who knows if it will.

Guinevere seems unlikable and Ban feels very fluffy. Lancelot a jerk. Is this in line with traditional Arthurian tales, don't know, but so far it's a good story.

So much happening, not sure where it's going to end in the last ~50 pages. I can't see the war ending that quickly but who knows.

It's an interesting tale but I'm not sure I'd be as invested if the audiobook narrator wasn't so good.

Lots of things happening. We get to meet Lan's son. Anden seems to find a relationship on his new land. Hilo and Wen have a baby. So much happening. The other shoe has to drop soon I imagine and the "war" will crank up.

Pausing for now, the audiobook didn't have distinct enough character voices. Everyone sounded the same. I'll come back to it via digital or physical later this summer.
