This book just makes me feel so much. Thoughts and feelings, the description of smiles, the blushes, and so much more. Then there’s the shame Camden’s mother put into him. Each word or sentence biting into him. She’s a monster who used her psychiatry against him.

Camden had terrible parents. They’re doctors who are horribly homophobic and it’s almost certainly a big part of why he’s so introverted. Better to be silent than to hear their insults.

For Royal things were always good. A loving family. Their parents sat down he and Indie for “the talk” in separate rooms. Except they didn’t just talk about mechanics. They talked about feelings and following your heart.
