It feels very preachy and doesn't flow well. It's almost as if he sat on black Twitter and read conversations, rants, etc. and then created situations for his characters to use those exact conversations, rants, etc. I get it, the world is crazy right not, the U.S. in particular. But if you want to write a book and put every thought about current events in it, perhaps op eds or non-fiction instead of monologues
