How am I meant to believe Gavriel’s skills as one of the best assassins if in almost 300 pages I mostly saw him get tricked or captured? If I could at least see some interesting personality… 😕

It’s a pretty long book, 🤞🏻 I’ll be into it or it’s gonna be a tough read.

It's alright but also kind of bland. The concept of the story is more captivating than the execution of it. I feel I'm losing interest so I might consider speed reading to maybe try the second one to see if it's more engaging.

In that weird mood where I want to read but nothing calls to me, let's hope this is interesting enough

Childhood friends who always loved each other but never admitted it trope can end up being either annoying or so good 💕​

1.Time to try this series, I intend to read books 2 (yay for single dad stories!), 3 (Powerless really calls to me so 🤞​) and 4 (Reckless is the one practically everybody loves)
2.There were a couple of cringy scenes at the start, but this is really adorable, I'm liking it and having fun, it flows really well and I'm eating it up!

I’m struggling a lot with the rate decision, do some of the spicy scenes, that were important parts of the story but not my thing at all and I skimmed through because they were not of a kind I want or like to read, impact the fact that I really enjoy the rest of it?

really like the couple,the story,the friendships,it’s just…And it’s 100% a me thing,I knew going in the book was built on this and it’s such a weird conflicting feeling cause it’s done well,but I would rather it was a bit different… most spice scenes here, hot,but also not my thing, like… I won’t reread them, it’s just Aurora and Talon I want, that’s the spice I choose. Might still be 4 stars tho

1. If I had a nickel for every time a couple in love in a book can’t touch each other I would have two nickels this month

2. Always a struggle to come after a masterpiece, but 🤞🏻 The Jasad Crown is on another level and I’m not gonna rate other books comparing them to it, this is an entirely different style with different expectations

Currently obsessed with The Jasad Crown, but I have books that are being released to cross off my tbr so I'll read the shortest one then get back to re look through The Jasad Crown.

Well... they are and they aren't on opposite sides, it's complicated, but they're very much a power couple that can make or break the world

P.S. Nothing has ever been as hot as Arin worning "If she dies for them, they will die with her" HOT 🥵​
