kind of not impressed so far… feels very tell instead of show

guys how is stephen king eating up this romance better than some romance authors

wow so so good so far, this has so much depth and it’s refreshing for a stephen king book to just be focused on one character. i’ve put this off for a while because i knew i would love it and it’s good to see im right so far

so far biggest book i’ve started reading this year

for a book titled ‘the day of the triffids’ i’m halfway through and have only had one triffid encounter…

now onto my most anticipated book of the year…

book is a 10/10 so far, so engaging, so sad, so so good. but i can’t take it with fredrik backman spoiling his own plots and being so ominous and annoying like these characters JUST MET JUST KISSED and now ur telling me they don’t end up together. omg he does this all the time

i mean i get the repetition across the chapters and how it’s a different guy but it’s not really i just think john boyne is presenting this book as a really intellectual and historically depth novel starting from antiquity but it feels shallow and he’s not letting the setting settle for enough time. the chapters are genuinely like 7 pages but i’ll stop being negative i’m reading this for my nana 😛🩷

this is really picking up, the plot is good but the character writing is the best part

this will be my final kindle book distraction, after this i’m locking in with my physical tbr

this is seriously some of the best history i’ve ever read

buddy victor here should rly get crackin on frankenstein 2.0 idk what he’s wasting his time for

of course these ‘enemies’ to lovers just HAVE TO fake date… of course that’s the only logical option.
