What a way to start a book!

I keep getting happily surprised by this manga

I probably need to read more from disabled activists and organizers cause I can dream of creating something but the reality of my capabilities aint there. But I like this book makes me think about it.

The talk about belonging and community is always hard for me. I crave belonging and community and connection but the world sees my way of connecting as inadequate. Im also liking the way they explain organizing and activism as a way to tell/construct a story. Ok Im liking the book

I struggle with non ficition that doesnt do story telling so it will be slower read. But this feels hopeful so I think I need it.

This series keeps surprising me. The idea of how can magic can make the world better and who is to say what that power can or cant fix…

This is so Cosmere centric. So Ghostbloods is must def gonna be a full Cosmere event type series not a contained one.

Ok, so I have mixed feelings about this part of the story. But for sure this book is more Cosmere than just Scandrial and Mistborn and that adds to my “Im not sure “ feelings.

I still cant say why I dont feel the same as with mistborn era 1. This is fun but its not mindblowing

Im a Mistborn Era 1 gal. Thats my fave Sanderson story no questions asked.

One of the most complicated and enjoyable morally grey characters Ive read. There are always more secrets.

Ok just in the personal part not in the “finding someone” thats Marasis which I thought was gonna be my fav character

NEVER I had felt identified with a rich proper lady character till Steris… im not sure how I feel about it

Its more action packed than Stormlight Archive but slower than Mistborn Era 1. I like the idea about religions as I did with Era 1 , crisis of faith are always fun intellectual exercises even in fiction. As with everything Brandon writes I still think he is a characters guy even if everyone says he is a world building guy.

Wayne is such a good character. Brandon always gets me with characters.

Is Steris autistic coded on purpose? Im loving her character.

I love this book. It feels hopeful in the middle of Clark questioning things.

So it feels more like Stormlight Archive in the sense that it feels you are just watching the lives of the characters and you know theres a big plot but right now you are just living lives with them? But it has mini plots so I like that. And of course my fave hound is mentioned and probably will show up 🩷🩷.

This one is slower than the first one but I really like the moral and religious dilemas on Scandrial. I still think Mistborn Era 1 is my fave moment in the Cosmere but after reading a couple thousand pages Sanderson has written I think what I like the most about him is his characters and how the environment is also one of them.

Steris scripts her conversations? 😂😂😂 does Brandon Sanderson know he writes good undiagnosed autism very well?
