first story almost made this a DNR, but second story kicked ass

My god this book is boring but the plot seems to have almost completely changed, thank goodness

honestly i'm half convinced King's books are so creepy just because he's a bad writer so it feels like the traumatic account of a child

Ngl… this is pretty convincing. And honestly well written for the amount of facts he’s using

it's kinda giving gossip girl but if it was set in Raleigh in the early 1900s and was written like a history paper

i think this is the first smut-less high fantasy i've ever enjoyed

first of all, thank you to the author for gifting me a signed copy. second of all, so far it feels like a series of "and you won't guess what happens next" with nothing really happening next
