the “inclusivity” of preferred pronouns in prose basically makes the characters to whom it’s applied seem like narcissists

I think Markley thinks Kate Morris’ voracious pansexuality (my word, not his) makes her more interesting… that is not its effect. I find myself wondering about angry lovers, VD, broken promises and perpetual unhappiness. it’s immature of him.
