A reward for a Kickstarter project, this long anticipated reprint of Smith's college strips makes for a fun read. Smith is not as polished here as he becomes in his later career, but the comic timing is there. This volume is a delight.

I have neglected my reading today; I could still get some late night reading done before bed, but I went to an antique mall and a military themed restaurant today. Acquired some comic books.

I still have more than 300 pages more to go on this book. This is an enjoyable volume, but it seems to be taking me a while.

The early Adams stories are less polished, but the talent is still there. He definitely improved his craft over time.

I need to be more selfish when it comes to my reading time. I like my roommate; I really do. But when he comes in my room with his usual conversations, it is really hard to concentrate enough to read a book. I like that my job gives me two days off, time that I use to read. Yes, I mostly read comic books, but I like to read prose, too. I recently finished a Harry Potter book and a Song of Fire and Ice book.
