The first half of this book was so boring I stopped reading for four months, but the second half has picked up.

Samantha is making me so mad I almost want to stop reading

I understand she has parental issues but I am begging Samantha to be normal about one single relationship in her life.

The goths vs. preps stuff strikes me as pretty juvenile, but plenty of people treat college as an extended adolescence, so I’ll say it’s not entirely out of place.
