funniest part of this book is how all of the characters who call the autistic kid slurs are (rightfully) demonized but then the narrative... itself... treats Pete like less than human... the cognitive dissonance

i just pruned my to-read list to take out stuff i don't remember adding / am no longer interested in and i got it down from 367 to 286... my power

how come every book in dotc has the same plot and it's barely a plot. "max why are you reading dotc" because i have to read it to get the sweet sweet dopamine of Completing The Series but once i finish it i'm never touching it again
