Only eight pages in and I can tell this will be my next favourite book.

Listening to as an audiobook.

This book is so touching! I can relate to it really well, probably because it’s so personal and truthful.

Haha i read ahead again.... the ending looks very exciting!

Biblical advice of the day. This is a direct quote.

It seems like God wants to be god for only a certain group of people, not everyone.

I actually started this way earlier, haha. It has similar elements to Nighvale, but I am enjoying this book more.

Things God does that don’t seem to fit with moral values:
1. Lie to Adam and Eve. He tells them the fruit of the tree of knowledge will kill them. It doesn’t. The snake told the truth.
2. When Abraham wants a wife for his son God chooses Abraham’s grandniece.

Noah lives for 600 years. That’s real old.

So, I’m going to be making comments that are critical just as a warning.

Here are some of my notes so far:
-God loves whales. He makes them first, doesn’t let Adam name them, and doesn’t kill them in the flood
- EVE DOESNT BELONG TO ADAM!!
- the evil/good knowledge tree just lets adam and eve know they are naked???
- the voice of god can walk?
- cain and abel story is wacc
