Muahahaha, it's time to witness Brother Russel Crowe wield the sword once more.

The timezone jumps are confusing, given that I'm constantly wondering which characters are from which timeline. The book starts off with 3 timelines, time-jumping closer to reality. But those prologues give us a broader image of how many supernatural elements came to be as you read. Also has a number of terminologies to remember but just serves as great world building. Definitely newly created fantasy, new content.

Novel is really descriptive of its surrounding. Ernest really wants the reader to visualize themselves in all settings, while personifying Wade's amusement like a child in Wonderland.

Not great obviously for a quick read, especially during a busy college schedule. Tend to gaze over the atmospheric details and focus on plot.

Book doesn't feel that socially connective to other characters. Not emotionally heavy.
