Still 3hrs left on this audiobook and I'm so nervous. What a fantastic novel.

Only 26% and yet so much has happened. Incredible book and the narrator for the audiobook deserves a medal for this work (assuming they didn't get one already)

I think I might need to buy this one because WOW.

Listening to the audiobook, narrated by Gadsby themselves, and WOOOOOW this is brilliant and I don't know how I'm going stop listening.

Onto Part 2 and weeping. Wow what a story. Once I got into the prose I haven't been able to stop.

My silence will not protect me; my silence will not save me from fear and pain. Silence is the element of anti-racism that is most challenging for me to break through. My ancestors remained silent and complacent and I need to continuously push against this. No matter how far I come I often slip back into the silence as it feels easy -- but it eats away at me and harms others. I needed to hear this first essay today.

Read the intro on imposter syndrome and immediately knew I had to buy it.

This book is so. fucking. good. and so parts are like looking directly into a mirror.

This is the year I'm going to unlearn all the ugly lies I've internalized about my identity.

Restarting at page 1, as I haven't picked it up for at least two years. Posting now as self-accountability (and would love if others also hold me to finishing it). It's been a while since I've read historical non-fiction and I need to make the time for it.

Pausing for tonight because I'm legit so anxious about what might happen in the final chapters. I am so invested in every character's life and well-being. Ugh!

THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD WOW.

You know when you just look at a book and hold it in your hands and think "I am going to cherish you"? That's how I feel in this moment.
