The tree's kind of a dick, it's not as much fun. dnf

Made it to chapter 18. Really thought I could power through to at least find out about the FMC’s real identity but I can’t. I can’t! The sophomoric innuendo is never ending and I’ve nearly lost my eyes from rolling them so hard, I can’t.

Powered through to chapter 11. Two or three dumb things have happened that 5 grown ass adults should’ve been able to easily remedy then an absolute wtf gross in chapter 11. DNF

Made it to chapter 9. I just kind of don’t like anyone at this point. I should be rooting for someone or something at this point and I’m not. This is book 1 but feels like book 3. You feel like there’s an assumption of familiarity with characters and events that are mentioned and it’s distracting.

The story is good. I don’t know if it was the narration or the names but I won’t continue the series

The FMC is still gross.

FMC is grating. Everyone is very impressed with her for characteristics she does not exhibit.

The FMC is an exhausting jerk but the through story is interesting enough to continue.

I'm kinda bored and not particularly interested in either of the leads.

I can see the completely avoidable, heartbreaking betrayal coming and I just can't.

This is not for me.
