Ham-handed prose, repetitive dialogue and description, and still people are giving this book 5 stars! This is a fantasy series where the main character is as ignorant of his fantastical abilities as in the first book! No wonder I stopped reading this series at book 4 back in junior high school.

not bad, but it still suffers from poor, amateurish editing.

I'm beginning to remember why I stopped reading these books. On top of amateurish writing, the ebook editions seem to have been edited by monkeys.
