Why has no one mentioned the typos in this volume? There are multiple instances where he'll be talking about one date, and then later it is misreferenced. For example, in talking about the influenza pandemic of 1918-1919, suddenly the date switches to 2018.

I don't know what happened, but suddenly I really don't care about this story anymore. Did we need this twist with the twins? It's too complicated, and I don't know that it adds anything to the story?

The first half of this book has waaay too much dialogue and exposition.

There is a heavy reliance on skipping sections, then telling that story in flashback that has become repetitive and annoying. In the beginning, it was not so bad, but by the end, it feels like there are flashbacks every few pages.

Interesting continuation of the series. Like the first book, the technobabble and invented words can be a bit too much sometimes.

The narrative style has suddenly changed to a kind of third person omniscient. Not really sure why it has happened.

I remember reading The Metamorphosis in high school. I think I was a lot more forgiving about sentence structure, and punctuation back then. Interesting, but it really shows how much of an amateur Kafka was.
