something about the way I’ve been picking up "fluffy romances" that then have something in the MC’s storyline that is a bit too relatable doesn’t sit right with me 😭😭 I’m trying to get distracted, not reminded!!!!!

I’ve been wanting to read this ever since it’s come out because I loved Rebecca Ross’s THE QUEEN’S RISING so much and so far this is everything and more!! It’s been a while since I’ve loved a book this much 🥹

this book is incredibly eye-opening and honestly mind blowing in a lot of ways as well. I feel like a lot of people would benefit from this read!

I'm having trouble picking this book back up because honestly it's been really disturbing. I'm just not sure how to feel about the amount of rape, sexual assault and violence. I understand these elements address a very real issue too but.. it's been nothing but that for the past 20% at least? And I just don't think I can stomach any more.

The way almost everybody in this book is being annoying and whiny. Maybe I didn’t realize that 7 years ago cause /I/ was annoying and whiny.

Not the part about her realizing she’s in love and wants to be with Abby (her now wife) and then them meeting again making me cry at work... ;__;

I can't describe to you all how much I already love this. I am just so happy. THIS BOOK IS MAKING ME SO HAPPY!

Rereading this six years after I read it the first time, with all the knowledge I have of future events in this world, is truly such an interesting and wonderful experience 😌💜
