wish i had more time to listen...

I was a bit hesitant-- i've heard mixed things about her non-vorkosigan stuff *though admittedly that's more about the spirit ring* but the fact is i'm in love with her writing and this one is picking me right up. maybe it's just that it feels like fantasy vorkosigan but it also owes a lot to Zelazny and the like.

Goes fast like the Brust, we'll see what happens when the action starts.

time to see if this series held up as well as i hope

and it's still great.

Moving quick. This one is very post-80s and edgy and has moments that remind me of American Psycho.

I always manage to forget just how fun these books can be.
