Rereading for a book club!

All of this is so great but there is also A LOT of stuff happening at the same time and this book is so long for middle grade

I love that storytelling is magic

A lot of times those little facts get smudged out of the history books. If you gon’ tell a story, you better be sure you’re telling the right one.

I was tracking until the epilogue. Also is this a standalone or is there a sequel coming at some point? I’m so confused

If this book was just about Amy and Laurie during WWII, I would love it.

I can tell I’m not going to follow this one as well as the previous one bc there are new/unfamiliar characters that don’t matter
