Wowwowowowow I am relating to Lysa so much. I needed to read this book.

This is much more interesting than I expected it to be. There are some parts where I skimmed because I was tired but for the most part I'm intrigued

When you accidentally zone out for several chapters while listening to an audiobook and suddenly are paying attention again and trying to catch up

Lewis’s early stories sound like Redwall: chivalrous mice and rabbits who ride out in complete Mail to kill not giants but cats.

It’s true that people do the most desperate things for those they love. Some might even call it a sacrifice…. But I think it might be the other way around. I think it would be a terrible sacrifice to do nothing.

Once again, I wish the commentary/notes were alongside the actual text bc flipping back and forth is a pain and I didn’t realize the commentary would be separated by lay/poem to read alongside. I would have gotten more out of it if I had the notes with the text. Sigh. So I’m skipping ahead because I just don’t care?
