Shortly after retirement, I ordered the hardcover version of the book. Upon arrival, its sheer size and weight intimidated me!
Let me tell you: this audiobook makes the experience FLY by! And its narration by the buoyant and ever-positive Father Martin makes it truly BEAUTIFUL.

This should be your GO-TO choice of reading for Election Night commercial breaks! Wonderfully positive...

At conversion, we are a new person. But our Old Self is really still a part of us, since there is a lot of Unremembered Goodness in it! In time, we will Remember and Appreciate that Self... and OWN it again.

EXCELLENT!

This is the simply wonderful audiobook read by Father Martin!

A floppy-eared romp through the royal corridors with a young Corgi Newbie, who is continually enlightened in regal ways by the doggy mentoring of a Senior Corgi - who teaches him the rudiments of esoteric Buddhist wisdom and forbearance! The wonderful sequel to The Dalai Lama’s Cat....

Fast-forward to the War Years and beyond. The characterization of this great composer is superb, as Barnes uses no pat fictional formulas to depict him, but rather relies on S’s implicit force of personality, by overlaying emotional, intellectual and musical data within a highly-charged atmosphere!

1936. Dmitri is “invited” to the Big House (NKVD Interrogation Centre). Many of the “invitees” are known to have “disappeared” from the austere Moscow streets soon after such “invitations.” A Superbly Chilling Novel!
