So far, I find it intriguing. It's challenging, so am forced to read things slowly and digest. Fortunately, it's well written so it makes this experiment easier for me. I work with animals, and have often pondered how I would write a book from the perspective of an animal, if I went the more challenging route and didn't assume that other creatures think like humans. I appreciate the lens the author is constructing.

I've waited about 30+ years before letting myself read this book. Stumbled into it at a library sale recently and recognized the cover art. It's not as difficult a read as I have always assumed. I'm enjoying the walk with Edith through greek/roman myth, quoting the philosophers/writing for each section, and offering her observations of each writer's slant on each myth.

I still love Bill Watterson.

Strange beginning. Was a little lost, at first... but here we are, on the island! I have a feeling this one's going to be a challenge for me. :\

I'm biased, as I love the subject... though... this is a *must* for anyone wondering how one would operate a business with a goal of "free" information.

I can see why this book is so popular.
