This is way too similar to love hypothesis!!!! I feel like I’m reading the same book, in a different setting!!!
And I’m also getting real tired of the narration. No grown adult makes references to a dead scientist THIS OFTEN and THIS OBSESSIVELY

Kinda underwhelmed at the halfway mark. That’s not very promising for the rest 🥲

Im so disappointed but why did I expect anything else. It’s going to be nothing short of a miracle if it takes a 180 from here and I end up liking it.

Only CoHo would write stupid sentences like this for the dramatics.

I did say I probably won’t read the sequel, but taking my words back and starting it. I really enjoyed the aesthetic and it’s not helping when everyone keeps saying it’s better than book1 - i Im determined to finish it (and love it)

I sure am confused about how I feel about this book.

IF I HAVE TO HEAR THE WORD NeuRoSuRgEoN one more time I’m going to die. Had I known this book is about a pretentious guy who fancies himself for being a NeuRoSuRgeon I would not have picked this up. Y know what’s worse? This woman who is obsessed over his freaking scrubs and how he’s a NeuRoSurgeon. Name 1 neurosurgeon who wears a stethoscope around his neck post shift. I’ll wait.

I need to go meditate

After 5 years of having Colleen Hoover around my radar, and deliberately ignoring them because of all the bad reviews at the time.. I’m giving her books a second chance bc of all the newfound hype from tiktok.
This could either end up being a big mistake or a big surprise.
So far (6% into the book) I’m grossed out, annoyed, and angry with the characters. Not a good combination of emotions. We shall see

Why & how is this book so freaking adorable? There are so many picture perfect scenes. It has to be one of my fav slow burns I’ve read in a while.

AAA so fluffy and wholesome and cute but also slowly crescendoing into something more powerful. basically, im overwhelmed with the cuteness but also emotionally drained from how much I can relate to both the characters. 💝💆🏻‍♀️😮‍💨

I hate it that I can relate to this book.

What in the world??? I didn’t read the synopsis, so I was NOT expecting this to happen. I was expecting the book to go in one direction, but it’s going completely in another.
I’m at a loss for words, and I have mixed feelings.
