A type of case in which a warning is required is that in which a charge of a sexual offence is made by a woman; these are sometimes due to sexual neuroses which can produce phantasies in which the woman half or even wholly believes.

We have to accept that every now and again, but fortunately quite rarely, a judge is confronted with having to deliver a judgment that seems to him, as he knows it will seem to the public, to contain too much law and not enough justice.
