Captain Emir Maq
Captain Emir Maq is on page 9 of 120 of The Scent of Time: A Philosophical Essay on the Art of Lingering
Reading it the second time, I notice little easter eggs. Feels like a video game quest, tracking the author's original german words, only to discover that they lack a translation into English after all. This is yet another situation where I cant wait for brain-computer interfaces to translate a concept to me from the original language to action potentials/spikes.

The Scent of Time: A Philosophical Essay on the Art of Lingering

Captain Emir Maq
Captain Emir Maq is starting The Sublime Object of Ideology
"When a discipline is in crisis, attempts are made to change or supplement its theses within the terms of its basic framework"
I see now, how I, blind to this fact, lashed onto the trunk of the old ways, thinking that metaethics and the good life is of something fundamental, or atleast necessary to our being... Im just digging the hole deeper for myself at this point

How beautifully depressed it has gotten me, especially after the infinitely dark nihilist hole i fell into after blindsight. I need a rest from the truth

Captain Emir Maq is on page 120 of 352 of Metazoa: Animal Life and the Birth of the Mind
In addition to philosophy, marine biology, and octopuses, the scenery I think describes what being an anthropologist on mars for autistic people feels like. Rather than being scared of what is underneath me when foiling,
I think I need to take lessons from the innovation leaders of today to be mindful and accept that I am flying over a forest of a completely bizarre planet.

Captain Emir Maq is on page 101 of 384 of Blindsight (Firefall, #1)
I really cant stand fiction. In my opinion it is endlessly dry and filled mostly with human interactions to original concepts in a ratio of 100:1.
However, it is interesting to see a bunch of engineered misfits, vampires and human conciousness simulations try to save humanity. Sex is also outdated.
