I'm loving this book. Impressed with the Definitions sections in the beginning which is written, except for the first eleven paragraphs, from the POV of various saints. Explanations include why we pray "lead us not into temptation" in the Our Father when we clearly know God would not do so, to why we have a great need for our brothers and sisters in Christ, members of the Body, who are in heaven.

Loving the historical, gorgeous artwork, discourses, referenc10es, commentaries alongside the Scripture.

Such an easy read. This book is a 52-week devotional arranged by months and themes. I love the caveat of Hebrews 6:1 starting us off: "So let us stop going over the basic teachings of Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. " (NLT)


Each month offers four-to-five thoughts on a theme. I love how Carol keeps the theme personal but brief with excellent questions & actions.
