A reattempt. Reading with Chewing on Leaves group. Should be good.

Starting today.

Read two chapters so far. Wonderful voice, and prose is crisp and memorable too.

Halfway through. A little too much typography and not enough meaning, so far. I'm hoping for more on Isomorphism which I think are key to inspiration. Not happy with how author explains things. Explanations are often riddled with holes and incompleteness (silly pun intended).

Westover can write. I'm enjoying this memoir so far.

A long journey, but I really like the way Williams build worlds and characters.

A lot of inner dialog and a lot of explaining. Could use more interaction between characters, but Novik makes it work so far. Enjoying it.

The dialog between the children is pitch perfect. It makes it a delight for adults to read.

I don't know, it's pretty obvious what the point is here. I don't need the author telling me straight out what it's about.
