A bit slow so far, but i guess the first heist needs a lot of buildup. Apparently not a lot of planning on their part though. I love Irene, Alex is a bit annoying with how insecure she is.

Very interested to see how this will all turn out. Camille is def the one who actually drowns, besides her and Ruth's relationship I'm not all that invested in the past. They want to be beautiful, they hate their parents old ways. Maeve is at least complex. Wanting Stuart to treat her right as an "adult" while pushing away her parents version of love (But also still loving her mother)

I really wasn't into the first chunk of this, but the last 30 pages or so have suddenly sucked me in. I love all the imagery, all the feelings that Meave knows probably aren't right, but she just doesn't want to fight them after so long of being stuck sick. And Ruth's pining for camille is just beautiful in the flashbacks

I think its so funny that they find a whole floor of the mansion covered in disturbing paintings then go downstairs and decide to tease each other over swordplay like aren't you worried about that??

This girl is DUMB lol literally only used her magic so the plot can catch her like...at least make it seem like a hard choice or something smh

Not really feeling it. Interesting but not enthralling like I thought it would be. The organization is just messing me up, going back and forth but it's not meshing well

The organization of this is kind of all over the place - starts out with his move to London, then some of his victims, then back in time about Jack the Ripper, then a new Part starts with again describing his victims? Not seeing the logic here lol

Probably my fault for not really looking up the description, but this seems really really childish and not what I was expecting. Each character just tries really really hard for you to not like the other character, leaving no one to actually root for

Guessed the twist correctly 😜💪 I'm really surprised that's the selling point of this book. Plus it's super convenient that after this twist is revealed the author decides to mention "oh yeah and they looked exactly alike"

Very interested in the characters so far, not much for an investigation or anything. I have an idea about what the twist will be, but curious on how they'll pull it off if I'm right

Interesting set up, I like the narrator for the audiobook. Want to get a better read on this princess-type character that lured him here. Also not a lot of magic yet

SELENA I LOVE HER - even if she couldn't save the little baby snow leopard, her attempt was commendable lol - also interesting that she is not Falcone's daughter but this Leo/The Lion guy. Really sticking with the Cat Theme, but honestly I wouldn't be against her trying to reign in the gotham crime family

Yeah, i was wrong. This is mostly boring, people just talking about theory or whether X is a test or not. The little battle of wits between Callum and Parisa was very interesting, and the convos about having to kill each other, but other than that its just ppl hanging out

as predicted, don't really care about Batwing/Corrigan/Joker's "daughter" side story. Kind of cool to see Arkham filled with ghosts or demons, but it literally has no point so far lol I want Batman! The gang war story is the most interesting by far!
Like to see Jason, Kate and Bab team up in Brazil, again not sure what theyre doing but its cool at least
