A good old fashioned chonker for my bedside table read. Reading Weir’s voice is so entertaining I can already tell I’m going to fly through it.

Shout out to the Kelley Library for having the hardcover available. The seven day Libby rental was not going to cut it.

Easy listening. Goes down smooth. What doesn’t go down quite as smoothly? Knowing that I would not have survived dragon riding school.

Just getting into it but, honestly, I already kinda get the hype.

Short Libby hold came up, supersedes the Darker Shades Hoopla hold so let’s see what this is all about. I wish this had popped up BEFORE my walk, but what can you do.

Well its nice so far but I’m a quarter of the way in and I can’t help but feel the story is only just starting. Mostly world building so far, which again is nice but let’s go a little bit.

Sad to find, as I’ve gotten into a sort of groove with this one, some not so good information about the author. Glad this is a library book 🫤. We’ll see where I go with it from here, will definitely be looking into the issue more.

Not as immediately in love as I was with House in the Cerulean Sea yet, but still good. I will trust TJ.
