I don't typically read nonfiction, but occasionally will pick one up that interests me. I bought this almost a year ago and just started it. Holy crap it is so interesting. It gives you more sides to the history and background of the people on board the Lusitania and the U-20 and other U-boats than was ever provided in history classes. Full of ironies

This book got much better. I've been reading ever since I got home from work with the exception of dinner and some piano.

So far, I like this book more than his others. It has a different tone and feels different. We will see :)

Okay, this book just got much better in my opinion. I think I'm starting to see the depth of some of the characters more.

I don't know if I could read another Fredrik Backman book. I liked A Man Called Ove but it was a bit too much. The writing style is too eccentric and fast paced. You feel like you're meant to rush through the read because of it. Even more so in this one, I feel....And the characters are always just too unbelievable. I'll have to read more to see how I feel later.

Wow this book got really good a little over half way through
