Great writing so far. Story hasn't really gone anywhere yet. Lots of describing the type of music a character is singing over and over again. The writing is keeping me engaged as is the audible narration. But the story is a bit slow so far. Wondering where it's going.

So far, this book is an extremely laborious, painful read. I'm struggling to get through it. I feel like I've read so many words and words, yet nothing has happened. If I could summarize the first 10% of the book, theres someone named Alice and someone named Margery and they traveled a path to start a traveling library. Why did the author use so many words just to get to this point? Hoping it picks up.
