Y'all, I got a 94 on my midterm for this class. A 94! I'm so happy! I'm so not a math girl, so this is an unqualified success. <3

I'm just gonna say it: everyone in this war is useless.

To everyone who prayed- thank you so much! Our power is back, and several days early! However, there are still many people in the state without power who need prayer. Please continue to pray for them and for the brave people working 17 hour days to bring power back to Maine.

Because when I'm on a writing/school deadline, I read. I have serious problems.

This ain't a bookish update, but I can't recall how to do a general one:

Nearly the whole state of Maine is down for power. I'm typing this from the library, where there's internet. My family has a sick two-year-old and has been without power since 5AM yesterday. Prayers would be very much appreciated!

We're so close to done with Chapter 4. Ick. *keels over dead*

*senses a pattern*
*will be class klutz in the yearbook*
*is thankful there is no yearbook*

Somehow I get the feeling that didn't help us very much.

Bleck. Bleck. Bleck. Would not be reading if it weren't for English class. Blargh.

A couple questions:

What is the point of parabolas?

Why must there be two different ways to write parabolas?

When will parabolas ever affect my life?

Note: These are all rhetorical questions-- answers not expected. XD

This class is so depressing. Prayer would definitely be appreciated... I'm having a lot of trouble at co'op. :(
