It’s a really good sign that I’m actively thinking about this book and annoyed that I’m not reading it

random but this did an absolutely incredible job getting across that the main guy is Asian without using stereotypes or making it painfully unclear so MAJOR props there

Not one of Rose’s reactions is realistic but I am a sucker for a good kidnapping that’s actually a buddy cop adventure so I’ll allow it

This has Les Mis vibes (takes 100 pages to describe a mundane setting; kills a principal character in one sentence)

A great twist would’ve been that now that he has amnesia, he thinks HE has to kill JFK but that’s too out of pocket

Praying I’m correct and this book is just light and silly and gets me out of my Stephen King-induced reading slump

Okay so like…did we contemplate peaceful options or is this just an assassination MUST OCCUR
