the art is gorgeous, one of my favourite styles i've seen this year. i'm enjoying the cryptic nature of the storytelling because it's all so pretty to look at.

i have a soft spot for stories about mysterious old Irish magic, and this book has definitely itched that spot so far. but i can already feel my gay asexual ass starting to eyeroll at the introduction of the love story that was teased in the blurb. that's just me though.

this book is the closest thing i have to a guilty pleasure (a concept i decidedly do not believe in). i've had it since i was a child and read it again every so often. it's not a good book by any stretch of the imagination, but it's comforting.

disconnecting a whole lot from Triss's infatuation with Geralt. it's um. i don't enjoy reading about it. also refreshing to discover that Lambert is as much of a cock in the books as he is in the games.

it's a children's book, so it's easy and pleasant to read. enjoying it a lot, trying not to read it too fast.

Eternal Flame was a great story.

there are so many awful people in these stories. so many.

power-reading now because i want this book to be over ASAP without having to DNF it.

i'm sick of the phrase "I'm not going to lie"

i hate the narration and i hate the constant movie references, but i want to know where the plot is going despite already knowing where the plot is going.

this is either gonna be a quick and dirty read or a DNF.

"He was like one of those really cool frying pans that everything slides off."

are you fucking kidding me

i'm six pages in and already cringing at the main character/narrator... hopefully this will pick up because i like the premise.
