Starts with a simple premise: We know/say that actions we do do also do harm; how do we deal with it? Even if we try to do something else it most likely will not be "pure" good either.

More laws… (I should not forget to continue with teaching to transgress, on the other hand I am happy if I get some momentum on a but, since that means I will probably finish it)

The ground the book covers is huge, but it is delivering a lot of insights so far. Even the parts about algorithms were okay–often these are pretty strange for people who write code.

Seems similar to "Objectivity". Which is also very good.

Surprisingly well readable. I once read a bell hooks text that seemed to be very modern-french-philosophy like, but this book is not.

Interessing point: Agrarian reforms often saw farmers as incompetent; they should be modernized by forcing them to work on large monocrop farms.
The assumptions modernists seemed accurate now; For industrial-scale monocropping, the knowledge of the farmers was barren.

Discusses a minor question of mine that I asked myself since a long time: What does it mean that cities and architecture are planned from a birds-eye view, yet affect people that experience them on the ground in immediate situations?
(Same the planning of movement on stages as seen from above, not as seen from the audience)

Oops, es gibt irgendwie einen zweiten Teil, der in der Zeit zurückspringt? Oder so? Ich bin etwas irritiert, es liest sich aber nach wie vor gut.
